Profile
Liu Gaochen is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Russian Language and Literature, School of Foreign Languages, Peking University. He received his PhD in Russian Literature from the Faculty of Philology, Saint Petersburg State University, in 2026. His research focuses on twentieth-century Russian literature, particularly late Soviet literature, the Leningrad poetic tradition, Soviet samizdat culture, and the intellectual history of the Soviet intelligentsia. His articles have appeared in journals indexed in WoS and Scopus, as well as in Russian VAK-recognized journals. He has also published Chinese translations of poems by Leonid Aronzon, Sergei Stratanovsky, and Lev Loseff.
